Naturally Occurring Pinholes

A series of pinhole photographs taken on large format 5"x4" film. The pinhole replaces the lens and enables a soft focussed image.
Each pinhole is naturally created; some are in dried leaves, others in discarded shells found on the beach.
The photographs document the location where the pinhole was found.

The colour casts are due to the materials used in the pinhole. The leaves give a yellowish tinge and the (mussel) shells add a strong purple hue to the image.
